Student resilience: a technology tool to understand the class climate
The proLabsXR Emotion Lab brings questionnaires into calm environments in VR headsets, and gives the school counselor a class picture of resilience, social relationships and safety. The tool is in development, and you can join the pilot.

See the class, not only what comes to the surface
Counselors need an up-to-date picture of what is happening in the class: who feels they belong, where there is social tension, and how resilient the students are. The Emotion Lab is being built so these questions are answered in a calm, inviting environment, and the class picture reaches the team carefully and with privacy protected.
What the Emotion Lab looks at
Resilience
How students cope with difficulty, pressure and change, and what strengthens them.
Social relationships
Belonging, friendship and tension in the class, from a class-wide view.
Safety
A sense of security at school, in the class and online.

- It is not a diagnostic or treatment tool: it helps the team see the class and decide on the next step.
- Compliance with privacy law and Ministry of Education guidelines.
The Island Challenge for life skills and safety topics
Until the Emotion Lab is available, you can already use the Island Challenge: the counselor uploads material on online safety, life skills or respectful behavior, AI builds a quiz from it, and students solve it as an adventure in the headset.
- A quiz from any file, text or link
- Every student signs in with a personal code
- AI analysis of the class results
